Understand your data, your public profile and your choices.

Data we process

We process account identifiers such as email and authentication details; profile information including name, username, photo, nationality and current country; optional biography, city, languages, travel styles and contacts; travel records and media; support messages; acceptance records; and technical security and usage records. Creator applications, referrals and eligible financial records are processed when you use those features.

Why we use data

We use data to provide and secure your account, save and publish your chosen content, enable discovery and connections, handle support, prevent abuse and operate subscriptions and the Creator Program. Depending on the purpose and applicable law, the basis is performance of a contract, legal obligations, legitimate interests balanced against your rights, or specific consent where required. Accepting terms is not blanket consent to unrelated uses.

What other people can see

Your email, private support tickets and account acceptance record are not part of your public travel profile. Approved profile fields and travel memories are public through your profile link. You can hide current location and contact links and leave Explore in Settings. Connections do not automatically reveal private contact details. Required nationality and current country do not authorize GPS tracking.

Service providers and international processing

We use Google Firebase for authentication, database, storage and backend operations, and Netlify for web delivery. These providers may process data outside your country. Public images and external services can receive technical connection information when loaded or opened. Applicable contractual and transfer safeguards must be considered for the locations involved. Payment provider details will be disclosed before live payment processing is enabled.

Retention and security

Data is kept while needed to provide the service and for justified legal, security, dispute or financial purposes. Deletion requests are assessed against those obligations; restricted records may need to be retained. Removed publications may remain in third-party caches or copies outside our control. Access controls and other safeguards reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and requests

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, a copy, deletion, information about sharing, or object to or restrict processing and withdraw optional consent. Use the privacy contact below or an account support ticket. We may verify identity proportionately before fulfilling a request. You may also contact your competent data protection authority. Privacy requests do not require a paid plan.

Children and sensitive information

Nomady accounts are for adults aged 18 or over. Do not upload sensitive documents, private information about others or content involving exploitation. If you believe a child has supplied personal data or your information was published without authorization, contact us for review and removal where appropriate.

Updates to this notice

We display the policy version and update date. Material changes will be brought to your attention. English is the source language; translations support understanding and do not limit rights granted by applicable law.
